A peaceful mind is essential in living a fulfilling life. Now is the time to put yourself at the top of the list, change your thinking and change your life! I am here to help you do just that.
When life is difficult our first reaction is to wish the problem away. Some people try to ignore their pain but burying it deep-often results in the pain showing itself in the most random and inconvenient of times. Our emotions want to be dealt with, to be expressed; if we don't make time to acknowledge them they will make their own time...whether we like it or not.
WHY DO WE DO THIS TO OURSELVES?
There are many societal assumptions attached to acknowledging our feelings:
"...It will mean I am weak"
"I won't be able to find my way back from the sadness"
"I don't have time to deal with my emotions"
Our society encourages the idea that shining light on the darkest part of ourselves is a task to be avoided so that you can "get on with your life". However, it is my experience, personally and with clients, that there is nothing more empowering than stepping toe to toe with what has been bothering you deep down inside.
Once you acknowledge whatever it may be it has no need to follow you around...
this is the moment that you really start to live!
You are not what happens to you,
you are how you respond.
If you feel that you may harm to yourself or someone else, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
